Sperms And Cell Phones
Using cell phones for long periods may affect sperm count and increase chances of having abnormal sperm, reports the journal Fertility and Sterility. Researchers from Cleveland Clinic analyzed semen samples and cell phones habits of 361 men, and found that men who used cell phones for more than four hours a day had the lowest sperm count and the most abnormal sperms. The researchers said electromagnetic radiation from the cell phones might be the culprit. Another study, presented to the American Association for the Advancement of Science, suggested that environmental toxins could damage sperms and pass the defect down generations.
