on Thursday, April 17th, 2008 We already know about the benefits of honey in easing cough and sore throat. Here is more. A US company, Derma Sciences Inc, has received the Food and Drug Administration’s approval for marketing honey-coated dressings for wound healing. Called Medihoney, the dressing is made from a seaweed-based material, saturated with manuka honey. Experts say it kills germs and speeds healing.
